Questions

Pricing and Payment Questions

Do you quote before starting the work?

Yes. Fixed Upfront Pricing means you get a fixed quote before any work starts, with no hourly rates and no bill shock, so the figure you approve is the figure you pay.

Are there discounts for pensioners or new customers?

There is a 10% pensioner discount, and new customers get $50 off first service. Both apply to air conditioning work booked across Pooraka and the surrounding suburbs.

Can I spread the cost of a bigger job?

Yes. Humm provides interest-free finance for larger jobs, which suits a full ducted replacement far better than putting the whole figure on a credit card at once.

24/7 Aircon Availability

Do you come out after hours?

We hold 24/7 emergency availability, so a system that dies on a hot February night or a cold July morning can be booked any day of the week.

How fast can you respond to an urgent breakdown?

Our Within-the-Hour Response means urgent air conditioning issues are responded to within the hour where availability allows, which matters most during a heatwave run over 40 degrees.

Licensing for Air Conditioning Work

Are your technicians properly licensed for refrigerant work?

Questions

Split System and Ducted Questions

Will a split system suit my post-war brick home?

Usually, yes. Pooraka's single-storey brick and brick-veneer houses take a wall split well, and we confirm wall access and outdoor unit placement before quoting anything.

Is ducted worth it on a standard block?

Often it is. The detached homes on standard blocks here mostly have the roof space and ceiling runs ducted needs, and we confirm access before you commit to anything.

Does evaporative cooling actually work in this climate?

It does. Adelaide's dry summer heat is exactly what evaporative needs, and it runs cheaply, though it needs windows open and loses effect on the handful of humid days.

Can one system heat and cool?

A reverse-cycle split or ducted system does both, which suits Pooraka's genuinely cold winters as well as its hot summers. Evaporative cools only and never heats.

Servicing and Where We Work

How often should the system be serviced?

Once a year suits most split and ducted units, while evaporative systems need seasonal attention to pads, the water feed and pre-summer start-up to keep cooling properly.

Do you work outside Pooraka?

Yes. We cover Greater Adelaide and surrounding regions, including nearby Mawson Lakes, Para Hills, Ingle Farm, Gilles Plains and Valley View, with the same licensed team.
